Motorsport is very much alive in South Australia we are the careful state. With a hefty seventy eight entries the cold August day didn’t disappoint. A new sight at Mallala was Matthew Reeds new Eclipse Pro –Sport. Previously Mat has only hadthe eye catching speed machine at track days for testing. Sunday was the big day Mat was able to do the fastest lap time of the day 1min.15sec. Unfortunately the Eclipse didn’t agree with the wet on the last run of the day he snapped an axle due to the rain. Matt said “Hopefully next meeting it's dry “. The MG Car Club had a good presence on Sunday as it is the 90th anniversary this year. The Australian MG Car club’s from around Australia are collaborating and sending each clubs MG images back the Uk to celebrate. There were three father and son combinations competing togetherScott and Murray Stephenson in car #611/#61 Honda Civic, Jason#260 Lotus Exige and #360 Tyler Edwards MG ZR and third comboGeoff #121 Nissan Skyline and Martin #21 Skyline Quinn. The dedication of families who stand out in the rain to support loved ones is tremendous.
